Work group "Energy Efficiency of Refrigeration Installations" presents Unit Sheet 24247 of the VDMA
Presentation of Part 1 "Energy Efficiency of Refrigeration Installations"
At its information event in Frankfurt on December 15, 2009, the work group "Energy efficiency of refrigeration installations" of the VDMA (German Engineering Federation) presented the results of its work to about 200 participants representing politics and industry.
The VDMA Unit Sheet 24247 will be an important guideline for the sector, it will contain information about minimum requirements, design criteria and energy evaluations for specific application sectors relating to the improvement of the energy efficiency in refrigeration installations. Güntner is directly involved in the elaboration of the parts 2, 3 and 5 of this Unit Sheet 24247.
The Unit Sheet 24247 consists of the following parts:
- Part 1: Contribution to climate protection by refrigeration and air conditioning installations, improvement of energy efficiency, reduction of greenhouse gases
- Part 2: Minimum requirements to the plant design and the components; Control and energy management; system components
- Part 3: Guidelines for improvement of energy efficiency in refrigerated warehouses
- Part 4: Commercial refrigeration (supermarkets)
- Part 5: Industrial refrigeration
- Part 6: Air conditioning/climatisation
The parts 1 - 6 will be available in September 2010. For further information, please visit the website: http://www.kaelte.vdma.org.
